What do I spend my time on that I can't get anything done?
Man, do I have a bunch of stuff to do! I did not work out yesterday. BB got his shots yesterday, and I was just too exhausted to do anything during his nap. He's napping now, and I figured I would catch up on this and work out later. I think I should do Kathy Ireland Workout. It's about 50 min of leg and butt and ab hell. What am I talking about--they are all hell, haha. But I need to have some damn caffeine to keep me awake to be able to, after the kids are in bed:
1) Make the fat disappear by doing a workout.
2) Get into this office of mine and dig a hole to the checkbook and pay some bills.
3) Clean the kitchen, do dishes, and try to unearth the countertops. I think they are white, but I haven't seen them for a while. They may have decided for their own safety to become like a cameleon and morph into the colors of the junk on top of them.
4) Take a shower. It's one of those things that just doesn't get done during the time I have with the baby. I need one too--I went to the gyno today and got a Pap smear. Gotta love the duckbill instrument they shove up and open in your cootchie. Your snatch. Your private canyon. Whatever you call it.
So much to do before I go on vacation. And I want to get it all done, so that I can relax and know that I have the minimal amount of work to do when I get home. We're going on a cruise. Last time we went on a cruise, my grandfather passed away right before we left. It wasn't the most fun, because I was mourning him. But this time should be different. I have enough money (well, the credit card will allow it, although God only knows when it'll get paid off) to get a facial and a massage. I always feel somewhat bad getting a massage. The poor little healthy person rubbing down a fatty. Oh well. That's what they get paid to do.
Oh, I almost forgot---the doctor's scale said 253. Ick. But when I went at the beginning of Dec, one month ago, I weighed 259. Yippee--6 lbs, and I wasn't even really trying. My scale here at home says, with the same outfit I have on, but with a little food in my tummy, 254! Damn. Usually the doctor's scale says more than the one at home. Oh well, it's with jeans and two t-shirts on, so I'll re-weigh tomorrow in the am and see. Or maybe I should wait, and just do it once a week. I'll figure that out later. Maybe I should shower now. Tootles!
