My goodness--what a pain in the ass this has been! I switched to Vonage, and in addition to the 50 emails I got every four hours harrassing me to complete their online stuff, they sent me yet another confusing thing to plug into the computer and hope to never, ever have to disassemble it. I think there are deep-sea cables that don't have as many wires as my desktop right now. I don't have a home phone, because I am still trying to decipher the 45-lb manual of how to hook things up. I am hopeless at this stuff. Shopping online--simpler than doing my nails. Setting up a little box with a couple cords that would enable me to use the service I am paying for--too hard.
