It's not videos, but I got something done
A couple days ago, I got some samples from a health foods store of vitamins and a pep pill. That pep pill worked, man. I got a lot done on Wednesday, scrubbing and vacuuming and cleaning. I had a hard time getting to sleep, though, and Thursday, had to sleep a little during the day. I took another after I got Bubba from school, and got home and washed the cars. It's not easy to do in 60 degree weather and with two kids. I learned you need an extender brush for the windshield and roof of the truck. My forearms were aching after tub-scrubbing and then truck cleaning, so I decided to walk today.
9:45--left the house.
9:46--wondered why I thought walking would be a good idea. Right calf tightens up uncomfortably.
9:48--stretch using a manhole cover and a stop sign. Hope there is no hole in the crotch of my pants as I bend over to help stretch my calf muscles.
9:49--continue walking, trying to sing to Handsome and point out the things around us
10:00--breathing needs to be regulated, so I stop trying to talk and work on my pace and breathing
10:05--it hits---the moment I stop burning my immediate sources of energy and go into fat-burning. I feel sick, I want to stop and go to sleep, I try to talk myself out of negative thoughts, saying this is normal, this is momentary
10:10--finally feel a little better, not as empty and confused. I am glad I chose the path I did around the neghborhood, so that I wouldn't have been able to stop when I started feeling like that
10:11--take the long way to the park
10:13--Handsome starts making squirrel noises when he sees the park
10:14--put Handsome in swing and keep moving my feet and trying to work on side-to-side movements
10:20--get my fat ass up onto a piece of play equipment and slide down a slide next to Handsome. I have to go on my side because my ass won't fit in it.
10:23--walk home, feeling the start of a blister on my right foot
10:27--get home and pat myself on the back for getting out there and doing it, and for spending the few extra minutes at the park with Handsome
I don't know what thing I'll do next, but I am going to try to do something else tonight after I take Bubba to a ballet recital. I want her to see the recital before I sign her up for ballet classes, to see if it's something she wants to do in addition to gymnastics. She told me last night, watching a TiVo'd Olympics, that she wants to be the girl skiing down a ramp and then jumping off and doing flips and tricks. Gymnastics and ballet would come in handy. So would a mountain and snow, but we'll work on that later. Whatever my baby girl wants to do, she can, and I'll help make it happen.
