I have been doing everything and nothing over the last few days. My brother-in-law had some imminent health problems, so Mower flew to be with him and his family in Indiana. I chose not to take the children with me and let him go because I really felt that we would be in the way and my brother-in-law needed some quiet to rest. He's doing better, and has been released, but it may take years for him to fully recover. It's sci-fi stuff they are talking about to get him healthy. Gamma rays at the base of the brain and stuff like that...

I have been a good little housewife and cared for the children while watching a minimum of reality tv. I haven't worked out, and when my stress level went up, I ate for comfort. I am not going to sugarcoat my flaws--I will drown them in sugarcoated cereal.

I am working today in the office, doing things for clients and I need to do an online/correspondence course to keep my real estate license active. I also need to meet with my clients, get my name changed, catch up on paperwork, and sign up for an auditing accounting class in Austin next month. We are getting our butts in gear for a very busy three months, because if we don't, there is no big vacation this year, there is no move next year, and there are no more children in the future. I want all that, so it's time to get off my big fat tushy and do it.

Oh, yeah, our new puppy will be coming home with us on April 9th, and Bubba has declared his name will be Fuzz. We keep telling her we'll get her a puppy when she turns 6, 16, or 60. I think she'll be overjoyed to get him in just a few days.
