The people at American Express Blue who put me on hold for more than 20 minutes of a 25-minute call to supposedly switch me to a Delta SkyMiles American Express, then transfer me without explaining why to someone else. I have to explain for five minutes that I do not already have a SkyMiles card, that I want to get one, and that I was told I could transfer it over from the Blue card. He starts asking for my information, and I get pissed. I ask him why I have to give him all that info when it should have been transferred over with me, and he says it wasn't. I ask to speak to a supervisor, and he asks, "First, what is the closest airport to your house?" What part of "Let me speak to a supervisor!" says, "Keep asking me questions that have nothing to do with a supervisor"? I supposedy get transferred to a supervisor, and I explain why I called and complain about the customer service being poor, and he tells me, "Sounds like you need to talk to American Express." WHAT! Turns out he works for Delta and both of us are confused about why the idiot sent me over to him. I call American Express again, am on hold for 10 more minutes, and finally get someone that seems to have graduated high school without being in the Special Ed program. Thanks for taking my time away from my son and for hiring the unemployable.
