When Bubba was four, she loved when the Pantene commercial would come on so she could imitate the model and swish her beautiful hair in the air. Her hair is naturally curly at the ends, but as it has grown out, it has become straight. The waves are from four braids I took out of her hair. This is one of the few times she looks like me via the waves in her hair. People always say she looks like me, but I think they can't see past the haircolor and the pale as white koi skin. I have always loved her hair color, and I love that Handsome is also a redhead. His is not as pronounced as hers, which I think is better for a boy, but it still stands out in a good way. Redheaded boys can go either way--they are either the most annoying guys you will ever have the pleasure of turning down for dates, or they are the guys that exude confidence, have no problems relating to anyone and stay in the center of attention regardless of who's around them. I think Handsome will take after the latter.

I personally think the "redheads will be wiped out recessively by the year 2016" or whatever myth is out there is such a load of bullshit I am brushing away flies from the screen after writing it. With hair this great, who isn't going to want to marry and reproduce with my children when they are the appropriate age to do so (which, to their father, would be in the last 30's, if that--the chastity belts were his idea)?
