Yes, I have become the mom who co-ordinates her accessories, in this case nails, to the upcoming holidays. Flip me the bird and shoot me the evil eye for being like that, but I'm a dork and that won't change. I can promise not to get the matching sweatshirt, though. Pinkie swear.
I sent out this Hallmark e-card, and the kids adored seeing it, so we did an experiment and allowed it to run to see if it really would give 1,000,000 thank you's. Bubba learned about recycling at school, and now gets excited to see the recycling symbol on the multitude of ready-to-eat products we buy since Mommy hates cooking. This is only a couple weeks worth:

Bubba's hair, which I have finally determined has grown, but she has also grown five inches this year and her hair seemed like it stayed the same length. For the intelligence-impaired Mommy Peej, that means her hair has grown five inches as well to stay at her waist. If only I could teach myself trigonometry that easily:
Bubba is also an artist. She recognizes my incompetance in some areas and figures that I am multi-faceted dumb, so she drew these on the driveway so I wouldn't forget. The parking space:
