My newly remodeled car
I got my car back one week ago, and took it back in on Friday to have some more work done. Thursday, I took these pictures, to prove that the car really does exist and I am not just hallucinating on the wickedly delicious mushroom tea I have been giving the whole family to portray a sense of happiness for the week. The before pictures are here: http://www.peejforprez.com/2006/06/dingaling.php
I looked at the before pictures and was really amazed to see that they LOOK relatively minor, but the list of items needed for repairs, not including the things I took it back for (the headlights pointed almost straight down and the car started to shimmy at 50 mph) was 118 items long and $12,827.73 worth of parts and labor, plus another $3,684.72 that we are about to sue for from the person who hit me since their horrible insurance company hasn't paid it yet. Grand total for these after pictures: $16,512.45. Why is this in my happiness week? Because it's just a car, and it can be fixed. If it couldn't be fixed, I could get another. Not so with my kids. No injuries to them makes me happy.
