It's like a train wreck, I could not look away
The cool pumpkin Mower picked out at the pumpkin patch a while back:
I decided to look at it closer, since it had a more flattened look to the stem. When I touched the stem, it came off and a little bit of pressure caused the side to pull away:
Then I have to admit, it was like picking at a scab or a pimple--I couldn't leave well enough alone:
I was fascinated by the innerds, also. It looked like how I imagine a 79-yr-old virgin's cootchie looks like:
Not that I am going to take pictures of a 79-yr-old's virgin cootchie for comparison. If I could get the camera up there for a similar shot, I'm pretty sure I popped that and it would no longer be a scientifically accurate comparison. Plus, how do you get out of that awkward situation?
"No, Estelle, I really did mean it when I said that I loved you! No, no, I am not just using you for your body, really! It's your heart I love. I said I love your heart, I didn't ask if you needed to fart. Turn your hearing aide up. I said turn your hearing aide up, not put it in your butt!"
Too uncomfortable and awkward, yeah.
