Little brother, get off my ass!
She has snapped at him to get him to quit following her around. She has tried going on the couch to avoid him, since he has a hard time getting up there on his own. She has not liked it when we give him attention. She is right there wanting cuddles and love. It's the normal behavior of an older sister, I'm sure, we just haven't experienced it before in this house. I'm not complaining--they seem to have worked out their differences and he knows she is in charge. He even seems to appreciate that someone is telling him what to do, which is odd for us when compared to our other babies. Introducing.....
China, Fuzzy's older sister. He is 1 1/2 times her size right now, and 7 months younger from the same momma and daddy.
She was submissive to the other dogs at her first home, where she and Fuzzy were born, but here, she put him in his place fast--away from Mommy when she wants attention.
Bubba is excited to have a girl dog for her, so Handsome can have Fuzzy and they each have a buddy.
She is such a sweetie, and has made herself right at home here.
Fuzzy is a much happier boy, with a playmate he can chase after and not get yelled at for doing so.
I am thrilled that we have Fuzzy's full-blooded sister with us. The only thing I feel bad about is last night, we put her in a crate and Fuzzy in his play yard, and Fuzzy started humping away at his pillow. Poor little thing had to listen to her younger brother get busy with cotton and foam, and pretend she was not pressed up to the side of the crate, fascinated that boys do such weird things in their room by themselves. Welcome to the nuthouse, China.
