"Change comes from within"
As you can tell, peejforprez.com has been changing. First there was the little hairs under the heading, then a smell eminating from the lower half of the page if it wasn't refreshed once or twice a day, and then the most embarrassing part of website puberty--morning wood. Actually, some people have really been enjoying the morning wood. It's cleaning off the body fluids from the monitor that most people are complaining about.
The title of this entry comes from an old co-worker who, when asked for a handout of change from a multi-layered person of indeterminate gender with an aura reminsicent of Pigpen from "Peanuts," replied, "Change comes from within," and kept walking unsteadily home in an after-brunch Mimosa haze. I might have mentioned this before, but I am still bemused by it, and also this: I once rolled down my window to give two bucks to a homeless person and he refused to take it--he gave it back to me. That's how awful I looked in my Chevy Cavalier after ten hours of waiting tables. Sad.
The changes, design, creative mojo on this site is 100% provided by Active Media Designs, aka the rock star of website design. I have been so amazed at the ability to take what I say I want and translate it to more than I could have expected. I am about as clear as mud for some of my ideas of how to insinuate myself on this site like a stripper shoving her glitter-drenched breasts in your face. Kristin and AMD has turned my jumbled ideas and has and is bringing them to fruition, which always reminds me of a uterus since the day a health class teacher said a uterus is a fruit since it has eggs and ripens. If you like the look of the layout, it's all Kristin at Active Media Designs. If you don't, it's because my fried brain, which I damaged with such things as smoking weed from a gas mask, couldn't convey things clearly to Kristin and she did the best with the garbage I gave her. Honestly and in all seriousness, Kristin walked me step by step through even the smallest details, asking many questions to tweak the design to how I specifically wanted it, explained the benefits of different aspects of hosting and design, and has been there every step of the way. Her customer service is impeccable, and her work extraordinary. Without Kristin and Active Media Designs, this site would not be here.
Thank you, Kristin, for all your hard work. It is appreciated every day.
