We were all watching the movie Flushed Away in our bedroom, and Bubba of course had more questions than the Riddler off his ADHD medicine. The movie reached a point where two mice are watching a soccer match on tv and one doens't want to get up to use the restroom until halftime. After explaining halftime and the ritual of everyone using the bathroom and getting food while the game is on break, Bubba was still confused.

"Why don't they just pause it?"

Because there's an unfortunate demographic in the world that does not subscribe to the Almighty God TIVO. They spend their money on things like nutritional food, wholesome entertainment, and medicine for their syphillis. Since we ignore those things and/or think things will get better without having to do anything about it, we have more time to devote to pausing the tv while we pee, burning to the last drop.
