Bubba is done with school for the year, which means a long summer of her and I not agreeing on how much Hannah Montana is excessive before Mommy's head explodes. She wrote this Squiggle Book throughout the year, which is a cool way to see into her mind and find out what she finds interesting enough to design a whole drawing and story around.

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you--Bubba's Squiggle Book:

Bubba language: The flours or in a vaes. I wost it for

Translation: The flowers are in a vase. I used it for [a party].

Bubba: I wus on a ship and we wr on a pool.

Bubba: This is Bob and Tobie. A mailman give them a packich. it was a little hevie!

Bubba: I went out to go for a walk. I saw a, tree my dog came to the tree too the tree was pritee.

Bubba: Here is a forist you can see the mautins it snows there there is a, lot of anima

Translation: Here is a forest. You can see the mountains. It snows there. There are a lot of animals.

Bubba: there was a wolf he lived in the montins sometimes he will go to the forist to find food to eat saw a maose he was hangre he went the maose.

Translation: There was a wolf. He lived in the mountains. Sometimes he will go to the forest to find food to eat. He saw a moose. He was hungry. He went to the moose.

Bubba: Ones opon a time there was three woolfs they lived on a big hil they were hugry. Ruff! Ruff! Ruff!

Bubba: Wones opon a time there was a snake he lived in a hole by a tree there was two moses one all most fell there was a house on a hill the hil wusint far from the tree wen the mose all-most fell a stick fell and hit the

Translation: Once upon a time there was a snake. He lived in a hole by a tree. There were two moose. One almost fell. There was a house on a hill. It wasn't far from the tree. When the moose almost fell, a stick fell and hit the [snake].

Bubba: One day I got a new half car half bike one day I rode it it went sooper fast that my dad siad, do you know how to drive this thing? siad my dad. I siad max de.

Translation: One day I got a new half-car, half-bike. One day I rode it. It went super fast, so fast my dad said, "Do you know how to drive this thing?" I said, "Maybe."

That one is Mower's favorite. This one is mine--she has such an amazing memory for things I'd like for her to forget....the fish dying, the time I ran a red light on her birthday....

Bubba: I had two fish, once but one day my sucker fish died the next day my dad axlently bang on the fish tanc and then my other fish did the same thing that hapen to my sickerfish.

Translation: I had two fish once. But one day, my sucker fish died. The next day, my dad accidently banged on the fish tank and then my other fish did the same thing that happened to my sucker fish.

Bubba: This is a woolf her name is Ella. She is on a hill the hill is sronded by rocks. There is some sand nearby it is a windy day some sand into the aer.

Translation: This is a wolf. Her name is Ella. She is on a hill surrounded by rocks. There is some sand nearby. It is a windy day [which blows] some sand into the air.

Bubba: I am a grown up I am looking for good tools to find bones.

Bubba: The one that says first over it what it looks like before you plant a flower. The one that says next is the one that how it looks when it gown a little bit. The one that it finaly

I think it's so cute that she fills up the page but doesn't finish her thoughts on the other side. I think she thought she couldn't keep going on some of these. I just have to smile looking at them and seeing how her mind works, and also because I am proud of my reader and writer. She's my sweetie and I will always adore my nose-picking, bed hogging, super stinky fart laying little girl. May you all be blesses with one just like her!
